As for what the films about...

When Sam Merrick (Rory Culkin) is beaten up by local bully George Tooney (Josh Peck), Sam's older brother Rocky (Trevor Morgan) and his friends Clyde (Ryan Kelley) and Marty (Scott Mechlowicz) plan to pretend it's Sam's birthday to "invite" George on a boat trip in which they would dare him to strip naked, jump in the lake, and run home naked. But when Sam, his girlfriend Millie (Carly Schroeder), Rocky, and Clyde see George as not much of a bad guy, they want to call off the plan, but Marty refuses. Wow. Look at my amazingly retarded posts of the past. Anyway, I knew Ian had posted a thread about this somewhere, I just needed to find it...I just saw Mean Creek and I am lost for words. What a film!

It was an emotional rollercoster, the actors were...amazing.

I was...4, almost 5. Literally, I saw Aliens the day before my 5th birthday 'cause we went to a theme park called American Adventure. They had an Aliens themed ride and I went on it. My Dad told that it was based on a movie - so I'm like "Can I watch it, pwease?" So...we did and I had nightmares for 5 years until I saw it again when I was 10.

I became obessed. I saw Predator later that year too.

Actually, it was also made for the Sega Saturn. I've been playing this on PS1 recently - just brought it for £3 - and I've almost finished the colony. It's not a bad game, pretty atmospheric and tense at times.

I've got no problem with doing say, another new trilogy but with a different character. A3 was the perfect end to Ripley's story and we should have started a new one.

I've also been reading it - I'm about halfway through. But from the reviews I've read, I'm not at the really interesting bits yet. It's pretty enjoyable but I think this English translation could do with a go-over by someone who's native language is English. It sometimes feels like I'm reading a script with a Pakled cast - Star Trek reference, go search Memory Alpha.
