Sideshow AvP2 collectible props

The company Sideshow has just put up a few prop items from the coming AvP 2 movie, Aliens vs Predator. The three items available, all from the predator side of things, are: Shoulder cannon, the so called Shuriken blade weapon, and of course the predator Mask as shown in the picture.

As also noted by Corporal Hicks on AvP Galaxy, the mask is full of many scratches, nicks and claw marks, suggesting that the predator in the film will be a seasoned hunter this time and not just cannon fodder.

I still don't get why the red laser is upside down.

Hmm, it's not, is it? I thought it always looked like that when the three dots are aiming, but in the predators vision it's more of a "pyramid"-angled triangle, thus kinda reversing it. I think those three laser dots are all centered on each of the three "aiming lines" in the triangle, which would make sense then.

Or, maybe I'm wrong?

I think he can, in Pred 1 whilst in predator vision made the laser on the screen spun around, maybe the actual laser spun around as well

I looked at it in the previous movies and it's never really "entirely straight" - always a bit hard to see if there's one or two dots on top - but I get the feeling that you're right and that it was the opposite way in the older movies as in this AvP2 mask.

But, I'm sure they could have them however they want without a need to rotate, I don't think it would matter for the aiming ability how exactly they're mounted as long as they're parallell and pointing to the target.

yeah that's awesome....I hope they keep the "aliens vs. predator" logo, with both font type titles...THAT WOULD BE COOL.
