Since the tie-in game for the movie on the PSP is made by the same people as the old AVP games would you consider it to be AVP3?  From the reviews I've read it sounds like the game is pretty bad...nothing like a true sequel to AVP2 which is one of the best shooters I've ever played.  I think it's about time we got a kickass sequel on PC/Xbox 360/PS3.  We have the power now let's put it to use!  Now that AVP:R is out and people seem to like it I think that the time right for a REAL AVP game not this movie tie-in garbage!

They have expressed ideas about a AVP 3 for consoles and so on, I have no idea if and when they will make one, if they do.

just hope to god the predalien does what it did in the movie, but I would like to see something like that from over powered aliens and pred(seeing soliders that couldn't kill 1 alien makes it that the aliens have adapted more).also whiping aliens a blowing crack head's....heads off would be fun

Well you've got to consider that the national guard weren't exactly trained to hunt monsters...plus they had comparatively primitive weaponry to the space marines in Aliens.  They didn't have pulse rifles, they were out in the open, they had no idea what they were dealing with, and they were caught by surprise.  I don't think it was very far-fetched at all.

but then again, cops, solider, national guards end up dying by these creatures so much, they can't kill one monster or zombie, but normal everyday lives type charecters mostly kills them easier for some reason

When did an average joe kill an alien?  I never saw an Alien in that movie die to anyone but the Wolf.  Unless you count the ones killed by the Predator cannon WIELDED by a human.  The national guards didn't have those either.  Please correct me if my memory is bad.

I think the nat guard stacked a few Alien kills before they were destroyed
