In the Alien vs Predator movie i managed to pick up a huge error and i also found a logicla flaw in the Yautja design. Anyway i will start with the AVP mistake. In Alien3 we watched as the infected Ripley was pinned up against a wall and spared due to her infection. She could then manipulate the Alien into not killing her due to her impregnation. So my question is, WHY DID THE QUEEN KILL SCAR? Scar had a valuable hybrid embryo inside of him and although she didnt kill the embryo through her attacks the fact i he wouldnt have attacked him at all. Anyway tell me what you think on that one.

Now the other error i have noticed is a major one. An entire desing flaw in the predator. Humans as you know have red blood, and for this reason our skin is slightly pink and our gums the same. Pretty much any part of us that is showing has a pinkish colour to it because of our red blood. So i was just curious, why do the predators have pink gums and pink burns (As seen in AVP when scar takes off his mask showing his mark)instad of green? Their blood is BRIGHT green yet their skin, gums and wounds dont show it. Again tell me what you think. Thats all i got for now.

The Queen impaling Scar is hardly a flaw: In Alien 3, it was a DRONE not killing a QUEEN. Drones are dime a dozen, but Queens aren't. It needed the Queen so that there could be more Aliens, whereas the Queen didn't need the unborn Alien to do so.

And if you can accept that creatures have acid for blood and can walk on walls, I fail to see how you can have a problem in a creature's colouration

Well the gestation period of the alien in the predators body was much longer than normal, meaning it was a queen. I agree if it was a drone the queen would not have cared but another queen? I dunno. And i love Predator it was just a thought. I have no problem with it.

Actually, the longer gestation period can be put down to differently structured bodies. I'm sure the Predator's biology is vastly different to our own: For all we know, that was a hyper-short gestation period as far as a Pred's concerned. That, and if it was a Queen, it would have a crown, which it didn't have. So it wasn't a Queen.

Uh, that's what I said: The gestation period as shown in the movie could very well be an extremely shortened version anyway.

Just thought I'd point out two things (while still not being happy with the predator design of AvP):

1) Their skin is in fact (usually, in most depicted cases) slightly greenish

and

2) How the colour of the blood filters out through the skin, really depends on the structure, transparency etc of the skin, and since predator skin is probably fairly different from ours, it's hard to say what colour tone it should be.

Not saying you're wrong, just that they mustn't necessarily be flaws. I agree it's a bit strange that the queen would want to kill someone impregnated with an alien embryo regardless of rank, but maybe she figured out they were responsible for blowing up the whole darn place including her egg chamber. Or maybe she was just pissed off looking for random targets.

The chest burster of the queen does not have a developed crown. It develops at a later stage. (As we see in Alien Resurection) Also, any reasons you didnt like the Pred design off of AvP venom?
