This project seems like a good idea because of the amount of fans involved, if Fox sees how many people really wont this movie made they might consider? but it depends on how big the movie plot is gonna be, Alien and Predator (including AVP) have all had a average budget or less... who knows?

It looks promosing but it's not as if Fox could use their script due to copyright reasons etc.

Plus Cameron was already writing a script for A5. I'd rather go with that.

I'd rather not go with anything by Cameron. Guns, explosions, two-dimensional characters, predictable plot, cliché family-values-intense ending ... nah.

Hmm, some guy who wrote a script in his basement, or James Cameron, writer/director of Terminator 1/2, Aliens, Titanic. Considered by many to be the greatest films of all time.

Yes, tough choice isn't it Sil.

Not at all.

After reading the script for a review, I can quite honestly say that I'd love to have this made as 'Alien 5', even over whatever James Cameron could bring to the table. It's a beautifully written script with some well-written characters, a good plot, good structure - Good everything. It's not just another script written in someone's basement; It's some real quality stuff, even if it was 'written in a basement'.

Sure, people think some of James Cameron's movies are the best ever made, and they're welcome to - Like hell I'm going to try and stop them (Except maybe 'Aliens' ... ¤:-P) - and, hell, I really like 'The Terminator', easily in my top ten, but I really do think that this should be the way to go to finish the series, or at least Ripley's journey.

That being said it's hardly a flawless script, but I still thought it was a very good one.

Aaanyway, that's just how I see it.

If you don't, that's fine for you. But that's what I think, and I'm sticking to it.
