It will be sh*t. Has this director made ANY good movies? Nope.
He did Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat (UGH!)...
Nevertheless I shall see this movie for the action alone because it will be awesome. Sh*t, but awesome. Think Torque, think Scorpion King, think Blade II: Think Alien Vs. Predator.
But I have to say, the director's intentions are good. Will it be his first? Maybe. Is that likely? No.

Ah, you have yet to fully experience the Alien movies, and I have!!!
The Alien is the one that was released in theaters again a few months ago.
The Aliens one is just the normal director's cut.
Alien3 has like half an hour of new footage but the movie is sooo boring that I can't be bothered watching it.
Ressurection has only like 7 minutes of new footage, I can't notice much but the main one is the title sequence, which is more akin to the earlier movies and is way better (one part with a bug is pretty cool) and another thing is a different ending which sees them back on Earth.
ALIEN started it all, I HATE the removal of the dome in ALIENS, ALIEN3 was just silly (but cool nonetheless) and RESSURECTION's job was interesting, the animatronics were cool but the CG absolutely ruined them for me.
ALIEN just won me over with the design, I mean the other one's abandoned the skull!!

GIGER IS BOMB.
Giger created the god-ship.
On the pilot subject, it says on the Quadrilogy that a replica of the pilot was vandalised because it was deemed evil.

Anyway back on topic, I hope they never reveal anything about him or the origin of the Alien/Predator. Because as the director of AvP says, it would demystify them like Ressurection to the Alien.

Dude, being 100 times better then Ressurection still means it's really crap!
No BS, I liked Ressurection more then Alien3. Ressurection had action. Alien3 was just booooooooring. It tried SO DAMN HARD to be like the first, but it wasn't. Pity, the trailers made it look so awesome.
But I say, ALIEN is and always will be the best. It is so well done that it's scary. But ALIENS comes soooo close that it's scary.
