Predator cloaking for real?

Apparently some scientists already have quite precise ideas how to make physical objects almost invisible to human eye (and not only to human eye actually).
This could lead to designing something like Predator cloaking system in the future.
Article covering this subject can be read in the new Science magazine.

I've heard of something similar already being in use, whereas many little cameras film the background behind, say, a tank, and project it on the forward surface, making it almost impossible to see. Last I heard they had also made a coat for people to wear that worked in the same way, so they're getting around to developing some pretty cool stuff these days. This was of course simpler than the article above, but still worked surprisingly well like the Predator outfit.

I saw this in national geographic once. Apparently they want to equip special forces with this camo armour.
