I agree it's a bit strange that the queen would want to kill someone impregnated with an alien embryo regardless of rank, but maybe she figured out they were responsible for blowing up the whole darn place including her egg chamber. Or maybe she was just pissed off looking for random targets.

i dont think a queen would try to kill an impregnated host, even if she were "pissed off" at it, she values her offspring too much to risk it, look at Aliens, the queen didnt attack ripley when ripley had the pulse grenades pointed at the eggs, you'd think a growing embryo would be more important than unhatched facehuggers to the queen

You've got to consider the fact that Scar was trying to kill her. He's already taken a good number of slices out of her - including her neck - and they were getting pretty close to finishing her off. I think at that point self-preservation comes into hand before the continuation of the species.

you'd think she would be able to easily knock out a single pred with a blow, then cocoon him and not risk the embryo at all lol

Very true.

As far as what I don't like about the Predator design, well a lot of small things but mainly the face design, basically boiling down to the teeth. The face just looks stupid and very un-predatorish compared to all earlier references such as movies and even comic books. The fact they're supposed to have only two claw-like teeth in their upper "jaw", and have a full row of teeth in AvP, makes them look pretty ridiculous IMHO.

The eyes aren't right either, and the fact they can close their mouth is equally stupid, but the teeth mostly did it for me.

Sorry, my bad i just watched A:R and i saw no frill in the closeup at surgury. And about the queen attacking the Predator. She would have just stabbed him with her tail. As i nderstand thats the way they paralize their victims. Anyway i also dont think she would risk the end of the hive for revenge. She would have gone away and found another place to set up a hive. Knowing that there is already, well maybe a queen inside another host.

And about the pred face, it looked unfinished to me. I think that the pred1 face was much better. WAY more detailed and better looking. But the masks were way better.

aliens paralyze with their tail? i know thats the way avp2 did it but... is that right in the rest of the series? in avp1 game, all the tail did was impale, just like what the queen did to bishop in aliens

It was gonna be in "Aliens", but Cameron ditched it. As far as canon (the movies) is concerned, tails are for impaling.

Well i dont know if it is the tail but paralysis is enduced in victims for ransprt to the hive. I dont know how they do it. Maybe they can secrete it out of their tails? But all im trying to say is the aliens are quite intelligent. I dont see why she would put anything in front of the hives survival.
